The location URL update was loaded on May 1, 2017. If you installed your TEXT (SMS) widget prior to May 1st, you will need to delete the widget, save your page, clear your cache, and reinstall it to refresh the widget and get the update.

WHEN SETTING THIS WIDGET UP, YOU CAN CUSTOMIZE THE TAB TITLE, YOU DECIDE HOW YOU WANT IT POSITIONED ON DESKTOP. LEFT, BOTTOM, OR RIGHT. YOU CAN ALSO EASILY CHANGE THE RECEIVING EMAIL FOR LEAD DELIVERY. THE WIDGET WILL ALWAYS REMAIN ON THE BOTTOM WHEN VIEWING ON RESPONSIVE.
We all have our mobile devices with us and are constantly on them, so why not have the convenience of responding to a text request with a click? That makes so much sense, doesn't it?
Our newest update invites you to include a text request tab on your website. You get to control who receives the text request in your dealership and even what the tab titles says.
Open the lead notification, click onto the provided link and the link will point right to the texting option of your phone. Respond to the prospect. Not only is this extremely convenient, but it also collects all the information on your prospect for future contact.
The IMMEDIATE RESULTS were AMAZING! Several clients loaded the new widget and tested it on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. MULTIPLE texts came in asking if they were opened on Sunday, if a unit was still available "before they head that way", and inquiring about parts availability. These questions were responded to upon receipt and not only left the prospect happy, but also generated NEW LEADS!
IMPORTANT NOTE: The lead DELIVERY does not disclose the mobile number of the device being used to reply to the prospect. It is important to keep in mind that when REPLYING your mobile number WILL be available to view. We strongly suggest dedicating a mobile device for this purpose alone. Perhaps even creating a dedicated email address for easy identification. An example would be email@example.com Having a dedicated phone with the text widget set at your "text" email address will allow for easy control by passing off the phone to different sales team members during the day. It is also an awesome way of maintaining the text conversation and even naming the new contact within that device. Of course all leads are stored in your CRM as well.
